NSW specific guidance for managing cases
Firstly, in NSW when a case lives in one Local health district and their workplace is in another LHD.
Management of the case is done in conjunction with the two owning LHDs by:
The case LHD handing over the details of the workplace and relevant information.
The LHD where the workplace is located undertakes the workplace investigation and contact tracing.
LHDs may on occasion negotiate on a case by case basis for the case LHD to assist with this;
As a result this needs to be clearly discussed.
